In the third quarter of 2024, the top medical apps on iOS in the United Kingdom exhibited notable trends in downloads and active user metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower.

NHS App saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 30K in early July and reaching around 45K by the end of September. The weekly active users mirrored this growth, rising from 1.08M to 1.24M over the same period.

Patient Access maintained steady weekly downloads, fluctuating between 9K and 10K. Active users experienced a slight increase, growing from about 54.7K to 55.7K throughout the quarter.

MyChart experienced a more varied download pattern, with numbers peaking at 7.5K in early September after a low of around 5.4K in early July. Active users increased slightly from 23.4K to 28.9K by mid-September, before stabilizing towards the end of the quarter.

Pregnancy + | Tracker App generated a weekly revenue that fluctuated between $2.3K and $3K, peaking at the end of September. Downloads were relatively stable, averaging around 5K, while active users showed a downward trend from 215.9K to 184.3K.

Lastly, Badger Notes recorded a decrease in weekly downloads from 4.1K in early July to about 3.5K mid-September, followed by a slight recovery. Active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, closing the quarter at approximately 91.7K.
